Hi Reader,

I have a little exciting news to share.

Barnes & Noble selected The Savvy Girl’s Guide to Thriving Beyond Narcissistic Abuse to be included in their Fall Back into Reading promotion. From October 12–28, the eBook will be featured as one of 500 titles available at a special promotional price.

When I first began writing this book, I wasn’t thinking about bookstore promotions or where it might one day be featured.

I was thinking about the person quietly asking themselves,

“How did I end up here?”

The one questioning their own memories, instincts, and reality.

The one who had spent so much time trying to understand someone else that they had slowly lost touch with themselves.

More than anything, I wanted this book to feel like a compassionate companion. Not one that told readers what they should do, but one that helped them better understand what had happened—and reminded them that healing is possible.

Although the book was written through the lens of narcissistic abuse, I’ve come to realize that many of its messages reach far beyond that. At its heart, it’s about learning to trust yourself again. Understanding how your experiences may have shaped you without allowing them to define you. And remembering that you always have the capacity to choose a different path forward.

If you’ve been thinking about reading the book—or if someone comes to mind who might benefit from it—this is a wonderful opportunity to pick it up while it’s part of the Barnes & Noble promotion.

One more thing...

Beginning tomorrow, I'll be sharing a new series on Instagram called 14 Gentle Invitations to Remember Yourself.

Over the past year, I've found myself returning to one simple idea: healing isn't about becoming someone new. More often, it's about reconnecting with the parts of ourselves that can become quieter as we adapt to difficult experiences.

That idea became the inspiration for this series.

Each day I'll be sharing a short reflection and a simple invitation to pause, reconnect with yourself, and gently remember something that can become quieter as we move through life.

The series is inspired by many of the conversations that shaped this book, but it's really for anyone who could use a little more curiosity, self-compassion, and encouragement right now.

If that sounds like something your heart could use, I'd love to have you join me.

Thank you for being here.

Whether you’ve read the book, listened to the podcast, attended a sound healing, worked with me, or simply opened my emails over the years, you’ve been part of this journey. I don’t take that for granted.

With gratitude,

Corissa

P.S. If you’ve already read the book and found it meaningful, one of the greatest gifts you could give is simply sharing this promotion with someone who may need it. Sometimes the right book reaches us at exactly the right time.

Hi! I'm a Trauma Informed Coach, Sound Practitioner, Narcissistic Abuse Specialist™, Author and Podcast Host

I work with women who feel overwhelmed, disconnected from themselves, or caught in patterns they can't quite seem to change. Some are navigating the effects of unhealthy relationships or relational trauma. Others have spent years putting everyone else's needs ahead of their own. Through trauma-informed coaching, nervous system awareness, and body-based practices, I help women better understand their responses, explore the patterns beneath them, and develop a more trusting relationship with themselves. I also offer private sound healing experiences for women seeking space to rest and reconnect.
