What If Your Fatigue Is a Message, Not a Flaw?

Hi Reader,

Have you ever noticed how even when you finally slow down — your body doesn’t?

You take a day off, but your mind keeps racing through the to-do list.
You lie in bed exhausted, yet your chest feels tight.
You wake up with T-rex hands, your body still clenched from carrying too much for too long.
You crave rest, but something inside keeps you on guard.

This isn’t failure. It’s physiology.
It’s what happens when your nervous system has spent too long in protection mode — always scanning, always anticipating the next demand.

For many of us, especially those who’ve had to be strong for too long, rest can actually feel unsafe.
Because when your body associates stillness with danger or powerlessness, slowing down can stir anxiety instead of ease.

So we keep pushing.
We stay busy.
We chase the next goal, the next healing method, the next thing that will make us feel “better.”
All the while, our bodies are whispering:
Please… slow down. I can’t keep carrying this pace.

Those whispers aren’t weakness — they’re wisdom.
Your fatigue, your brain fog, your digestive struggles, your emotional ups and downs…
They’re signals that your system is craving a reset — not just mental rest, but nervous-system restoration and cellular renewal.

This kind of healing asks more than a long weekend or a good night’s sleep.
It asks for presence. Breath. Connection.
It asks you to return to your body as an ally rather than an enemy.

So, if you’ve been feeling stretched thin, caught in the loop of “go-go-go,” or noticing that your usual ways of coping aren’t working anymore — please know this: nothing about you is broken.
Your body is simply asking to come back into balance.

Take a slow breath with me now.
🕯️ Inhale gently through your nose.
🕊️ Exhale slowly through your mouth for longer than your inhale.
Let your shoulders soften, your jaw unclench.
Notice where your body meets the chair beneath you — supported, held.

This is how regulation begins.
Not through perfection, but through permission.

Next week, I’ll be sharing something I’ve been creating with my dear friend Cristina Calvi — a sanctuary designed for women who are ready to truly reset from the inside out.
A space to release, rebalance, and remember who they are beneath the stress.

But for now… just breathe.
You’re already on your way home to yourself.

With warmth and presence,
Corissa

Hi Reader, I wasn’t planning on offering anything for Black Friday or Cyber Monday this year. Truly. For years, I stayed far away from BFCM promotions because I never wanted to discount the depth of transformation that happens inside my 1:1 sessions. I also used to feel guilty — like offering a deal was somehow disrespecting the clients who invested at full price. But that was my own internal story… and something I’ve spent a lot of time healing. Because the truth is: The value of this work...

Hi Reader, I want to share something with you — something I see happen over and over again in the women I work with (and truthfully, in myself too). When you’ve spent years — maybe decades — in survival mode, the idea of slowing down sounds beautiful…But the experience of slowing down can feel almost unbearable. In so many of my sound healing sessions, women tell me the same thing after their first visit:“At first, I felt like I couldn’t relax.”“My mind wouldn’t stop… and then it did.”“I had...

Hi Reader, There’s something important I want to share — something that can help make so much sense of what you’ve been feeling in your body. Your gut and your nervous system are deeply connected. They communicate constantly. And when one is overwhelmed, inflamed, or depleted… the other follows. If you’ve been noticing any of these: • bloating or digestive issues that flare with stress • waking with anxiety or a heavy chest • brain fog or trouble concentrating • inflammation or water...
